Did you know 4.0 YouTube Assignment
This video looks at how the media landscape is changing and presents a series of facts detailing how media is changing the world.
Once you have your Blog semi-complete, create your first Media Blog response to this video. Please look at the step by step instructions.
- Start a new post/discussion
- Title it “Did you Know 4.0”
- Within your post, answer the following questions:
- What type of media do you use most often during the day?
- How much time do you spend on the different types of media mentioned?
- What fact shocked you the most? Why?
- How important is media to you in your life?
- Any other thoughts or reactions.
You MUST put the questions in your post and remember, you are writing to an audience. Someone, and not just me, will be reading this and NEEDS to be able to UNDERSTAND what you are talking about without being in the class.

1. Computer, there is always advertising on different websites. Like when you click on a website but instead a bunch of other websites come up,telling you about free games and dating websites that can cause viruses.

2. At least 5 hours a day or more. I spend alot of time on facebook and twitter and frostwire. I never use the computer for homework because i cant focus, there is so many things to do on the computer i cant just have my mind set on one thing.
3. When you post a picture of facebook, it is their property. I thought that was pretty crazy. When you post a picture it is officaly Facebooks property, they can use it for whatever they want.
4. Its important, because its everywhere. You cant walk outside and not see and advirtisement nowdays. It's on cars, buildings,bilboards and signs.
5. I think that in the future the world will be much different. advertisment will be absolutely everywhere. Supposably in the future everything will be technology wise.
